The WorkPlace Group, (Divisions of Special Needs Employment Services Inc.)
For over 30 years, The WorkPlace Group has contributed to the employment success of thousands of residents and business owners throughout Sarnia Lambton as well as supporting hundreds of clients who have chosen self-employment as means to a fulfilling career. All of these individuals have contributed to the economic diversity and growth of our community. As an organization we pride ourselves on the quality of our service delivery. Our success has come from a philosophy of ensuring that all clients are treated with dignity and respect and that their path must be one that is self directed. With a commitment to diversity we operate our services inclusive for persons with disabilities and ensure that our employment services are responsive to the needs of both able bodied clients and those with specific physical and learning challenges. Over the years we have offered a number of initiatives for various clients groups often in partnership with various community members and with various funding commitments at either a Municipal, Provincial or Federal level. Each of these experiences have filled a community need and increased our capacity to deliver high-quality services for clients, employers and the general community. Our Projects include The WorkPlace and WorkPlace Solutions, both located in Sarnia, and The WorkPlace County Outreach located in Petrolia. All services are available throughout Sarnia-Lambton. The organization operates under the guidance of an Executive Board of Directors, comprised of dedicated volunteers representing various sectors within the Sarnia Lambton business community. Our Directors have extensive experience in both the private and public sectors and bring vast business knowledge to the organization.
